hosh…hosh…hosh…. Karena sekitar lima hari belakangan ini saya merasa kepanasan sekali walaupun sudah mandi dan sangat tidak menyukai keadaan seperti itu (grrrrhhh…) serta saya pikir orang2 lain juga merasa gag nyaman, akhirnya saya menulis juga artikel ini. Walaupun katanya,sengatan panas cuaca akhir2 ini akibat posisi bumi thd matahari saat ini yg mana merupakan titik terdekat. hmff… udah basi paling yaa…tapi gag pernah mati (???). berulang-ulang dibaca…biar bosan pokoknya tetap dibaca saja dan direalisasikan juga. gag ada ruginya og bwd kita… justru menguntungkan u/ keberlangsungan hidup manusia. Once more, as i said, maybe you have read such article like this before but still use if u wanna read and do these such points….^^

STOP GLOBAL WARMING FROM NOW!

Nowadays global warming becomes a hot topic to speak. Many mass medias have explained about this. Social-humanity organizations also speak about this major problem of the world. They talk about bad effects of global warming, earth condition in the future, polar melting, nature destruction, and other things on the subject of global warming. Facing this bad reality, all of us must concern about global warming and take real actions to stop this phenomenon. Why?

First, global warming is not a rumor. It’s more than an ordinary issue or an usual opinion that becomes public consumption. It’s our environmental reality we must face, a very big problem we must solve because it’s not only relate to us but also our next generation. Imagine that we are breathing fresh air, seeing an evergreen forest, and living in peace with a comfortable environment surroundings. Then imagine that those things will become just a dream for our descent in the next 100 years or even sooner if we don’t give any regard for our enviroment’s life.

The most important thing we should realize is that global warming started by consumptive behavior of the people in this world. People wish to get practical life but in the end they precisely make the source of the descant’s life disappear. Thus, we must not ignore this very big problem.

Second, global warming also brings health risks to us. Malaria, dengue fever, and encephalitis, are not usually heard in emergency rooms and doctors’ offices in some countries such as the United States and Europe countries. But if we don’t act to curb global warming, they will be. As temperatures rise, disease carried by mosquitoes and rodents spread, infecting people in their wake. Doctors at the Harvard Medical School have linked recent U.S. outbreaks of dengue fever, malaria, and other diseases directly to climate change. Apparently, the deseases relate to the climate change.

Third, global warming cause catastrophic weather. Super powerful hurricanes, fueled by warmer ocean temperatures, is other effect of global warming. Since 1970, the number of hurricanes has jumped sharply. Human activities add an alarming amount of pollution to the earth’s atmosphere causing catastrophic shifts in weather patterns. These shifts are causing severe heat, floods, even worse.

Fourth, global warming can’t be separated from environmental destructions. The massive ice sheets in the Arctic are melting at alarming rates. This causes the oceans’ volume rising. And how big these ice sheets are! Most of the world’s population live on or near the coasts. Rising ocean levels, an estimated six feet over the next 100 years or sooner, will cause massive devastation and economic catastrophe to population in all over the world.

The United States, with only four percent of the world’s population, is responsible for 22% of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions. So does Indonesia. As a part of this world, Indonesia also has a big responsibility for contributing gas emissions. The solusion? A rapid transition to energy efficiency and renewable energy sources will combat global warming. It also protects human health, creates new jobs, protects habitat and wildlife, and ensures a secure for living creatures.

Fifth, why must we take real actions to stop global warming? Because little actions we took have a big effect to the earth’s conservation. And those actions are very easy to do in our daily life.

Plant a tree, for example. A single tree will absorb one ton of carbon dioxide over its lifetime. Shade provided by trees can also reduce our air conditioning bill by 10 to 15%. Another simple action is waste reducing. Most products we buy cause greenhouse gas emissions in one or another way, e.g. during production and distribution. By taking our lunch in a reusable lunch box instead of a disposable one, we save the energy needed to produce new lunch boxes.

Recycling our organic waste also help the earth stay alive. Around 3% of the greenhouse gas emissions through the methane are released by decomposing bio-degradable waste. By recycling organic waste or composting it if we have a garden, we can help eliminate this problem. Just make sure that we compost it properly, so it decomposes with sufficient oxygen, otherwise our compost will not cause methane emissions and bad smell.

Eating less meat is another alternative way to save the world. Methane is the second most significant greenhouse gas and cows are one of the greatest methane emitters. Their grassy diet and multiple stomachs cause them to produce methane, which they exhale with every breath. Therefore, we should eat less meat or even become vegetarian to decrease methane’s amount in the atmosphere.

For those five reasons, we must try to stop global warming from now. Global warming is a naightmare for the earth’s life. It brings bad effects to our environment. And as a part of the creatures in this world, we should not ignore it. Taking a real actions is very helpful. There are many ways we can do in our daily life and most of all are very easy and simple to do.

Msii banyak lagi baby steps on stopping global warming. Say no to tas plastik kecuali kalau sangat terpaksa sekali, hemat tisu, dlsb. biar bumi gag panas lagi… YAH, SETIDAKNYA TIDAK TAMBAH PANAS….o__O
